Risk Management Services for Veterinarians Print

There are risks inherent in everything we do, however as a veterinarian, you are faced with a very unique set of risks in your day-to-day work - particularly if you are running your own practice.

The provision of risk management services to veterinarians is a fundamental component of our commitment to the veterinary profession and the Australian Veterinary Association. That's why we've made identifying of the potential risks you face, and providing appropriate risk guidance and solutions, an integral part of our insurance service.

Risk Team of the Year

Guild Risk Services has been awarded 'Risk Team of the Year' in the Australia and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards in 2008, 2007 and 2005 for "excellence in their provision of value-adding risk management services to Guild Insurance clients".

Working with the Australian Veterinary Association

Guild Risk Services has worked closely with the Australian Veterinary Association since the inception of our relationship with veterinarians in 1994. The aim of this relationship has been to provide veterinarians with the tools and knowledge needed to mitigate practice risks and therefore reduce insurance claims. Some of the results of this relationship are detailed below.
